Sassy was my very first Appaloosa. Actually, she was my very first horse as well. Thinking back on the day I met Sassy I think it was a case of she chose me, rather than me choosing her, in fact I wasn't even looking for a horse at the time. But...it was love at first site and this headstrong muscular filly was destined to be mine. What a fantastic teacher she has turned out to be. I purchased her as an early yearling and she's been with me ever since. While Sassy has been a great companion and a willing participant in many under saddle adventures...she also introduced me to the genetic defect commonly known as HyPP.

***We breed only HYPP N/N mares in our program. While Sassy will never be bred, she does however enjoy the roles of teacher, show horse, mud monster, babysitter, companion and occasionally disciplinarian!
